Students will learn basic concepts and techniques in the art of sculptural construction, with practical, step-by-step classes throughout the process.

They will be encouraged to deconstruct form in search of their own unique, personal artistic language. Students will learn construction techniques as well as the hollowing, finishing, and drying processes for the piece, in order to achieve a successful firing of up to 1240 degrees. 

Previous experience is not required.
